Better Business Bureau Information
Both The Premier Company and International Mailing Systems already had a history of award winning service long before their historical merge in 2008. Premier was the first winner of the Houston Better Business Bureau Houston Award for Quality and in subsequent years received this prestigious award on six different occasions. Premier's numerous historical awards are showcased in the combined facility of the new company, PremierIMS. The company continues with an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.
MFSA Southwest Advertising Award
PremierIMS received the Chance-Saling Award for outstanding achievement of Self Promotion Advertising by the Mailing Fulfillment Advertising Association (MFSA) Southwest in two consecutive years, 2009 in New Orleans and 2010 in Oklahoma City. Martha Kaiser Justice, Vice President of Marketing and Norm Pegram, CEO display the award before photos of their mentors, Luke Kaiser, Martha's father and founding member of this organization more than 50 years ago. Also pictured is Norm Pegram's father in law, Roy Sowell. Roy and Luke were great friends and leaders of award winning Direct Marketing companies in Houston.
Norm Pegram was the 2008 President of MFSA, Southwest and maintains leadership in the Direct Marketing industry both locally and Nationwide.
MFSA National Luke Kaiser Education Award
We are pleased to announce that Norm Pegram has been named the 2009 winner of the Mailing and Fulfillment Services Association Luke Kaiser Education Award for outstanding contributions to education in the industry. This prestigious National award presented in Chicago on June 4, came just two months after PremierIMS received the MFSA Southwest Award for outstanding advertising and self promotion.
With undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Texas in marketing, Norm has always loved teaching. In November of 2008, he purchased The Premier Company, Houston's most established Direct Mail Printing company, founded by Luke Kaiser in 1925. Luke Kaiser, a member of the National Direct Marketing Hall of Fame, established this National award to further his passion for education and the future of the Direct Marketing Industry. Norm has taught marketing classes for many years at Houston's Leisure Learning Center and the University of Houston. He sits on the course board at the University of Houston College of Printing Technology which is offering one of the first 4 year digital graphic/printing degree programs in the country. Norm has published "The Direct Mail Marketing Little Black Book" as a free complimentary publication to promote the value of direct mail.
New Momentum Awards
PremierIMS Marketing "New Momentum" campaign received more awards in 2010. The American Marketing Association awarded the New Momentum newsletter with a top Crystal Award. And the newsletter also received a First Place award during the MFSA National conference in Charleston, South Carolina.
